About Social Science

The Social Science program gives you the flexibility to explore anthropology, economics, geography, history, philosophy, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology. You may participate in internship opportuniteis and earn academic credit while gaining valuable work experience.

Your understanding of the complexity of societal needs, diverse cultures, and individual responsibilities could provide valuable insight and influence as to how a company or organization operates. Learn about the BS in Social Science.

A secondary teaching certificate in social sciences is also available through a separate certification plan in collaboration with the College of Education. Social Science with Secondary Certification allows a student to be certified to teach Economics, Geography, Government, History, Psychology, and Sociology for 7-12th Grade.
