BS in Social Science Major - official Fall 2024
- Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science, instead of doing foreign language, will have 6 advanced hours in consultation with an Academic Counselor. The Other Course Requirements/Career Readiness (OCR/CR) list includes courses in Technical, Professional and Scientific Communication and Global Leadership and Intercultural Perspectives. Note: Any Social Science based courses used to satisfy Other Course Requirements/Career Readiness (OCR/CR) cannot also be used in satisfying the 48 hours in the Social Major major.

Social Science with Secondary Education Teacher's Certification for Social Studies- New BS - official Fall 2024
Students who earn a Secondary Teacher's Certification in Social Studies will be certified to teach the following social studies subjects in grades 7-12: History, Government, Economics, Geography, Psychology and Sociology.
